Congratulations to our Elmer Water Department! We entered a water tasting contest with 23 other municipalities, as well as private water companies from the South Jersey area. The contest was sponsored by the South Jersey Water Professionals Association. Elmer won first place in their division for small water systems. Elmer also won the grand champion trophy among all contestants in the water tasting contest and was presented with a trophy that will be displayed in the Borough Hall for the next year. The awards ceremony was held in Cape May on June 19 at the South Jersey Water Professionals Association Summer Meeting.
